Lauren May had an outstanding performance on Saturday, Sept. 7, to open the season at home in Delta State's 3-2 loss against Belhaven University.

May, a native of London, England, recorded 2 goals, 6 shots, and 3 shots on goal in the Lady Statesmen's match against Belhaven. May is now the category leader for Delta State women's soccer in goals (2), shots (6), and shots on goal (3).
