Zach Zediker, a redshirt freshman on the Delta State University men's golf team, was named the CableOne/Farm Bureau GoStatesmen.com Male Student-Athlete of the Week after leading the Statesmen to a second place finish at the University of West Florida's Argonaut Cup. Delta State carded an 18-under, 846 team-aggregate score on the par 72 6,815 Pensacola Country Club.
The Panama City, Fla., native, finished fourth out of 78 golfers, shooting an 8-under, 208.
The Statesmen tied eighth-ranked Limestone finished ahead four ranked teams including No. 19 Arkansas Tech (4th/848) No. 24 Lee University (6th/862), No. 26 Valdosta State (T7th/875) and No. 14 St. Leo (9th/878).
