CLEVELAND - The Delta State University Women's Tennis team dropped its season opener Sunday, Feb. 13 with a hard fought 5-4 loss to Arkansas Tech University at University Courts.  The Lady Statesmen slipped to 0-1 on the season, while the Golden Suns improved to 2-0.  

While Arkansas Tech dominated doubles play by winning all three matches, the green-and-white made a run in singles play, but fell just short in pulling out the match.  Complete results are listed below.

The Lady Statesmen return to action on Wednesday, Feb. 16, as DSU hosts Christian Brothers University at University Courts.  The match is set to get underway at 1 p.m.
