CLEVELAND, Miss. – The Delta State University women's tennis doubles team of freshman Amelia Ciesielczyk and senior Yasmina Mayer made the top 50 in this weeks Intercollegiate Tennis Association's poll.
 
The Lady Statesmen's no. 1 doubles duo broke into this week's national rankings at no. 49 after their 3-0 start as a team including a win over the currently sixth ranked doubles team of Karli Roux and Brooke Coffman from Harding 6-3 last Friday at the Cleveland Country Club, leading the Lady Statesmen to their 4-1 win over Harding University.
 
Delta State will be in action coming up next week on Tuesday, as they travel to Jackson to take on a division I opponent in Jackson State.
