Lady Statesmen Tennis slams Lady Bucs 9-0

CLEVELAND - The Delta State University Lady Statesmen slammed the Christian Brothers University Lady Bucs 9-0 on Wednesday at University Courts.  The Lady Statesmen improved to 1-1 on the season, while CBU fell to 0-1 on the young season.  

The defending Gulf South Conference West Division champions claimed victories in all five singles matches played and in the two doubles matches on Wednesday.  Complete results are listed below.

The Lady Statesmen return to action February 24-27 in a three match series with Southwest Baptist, Northeastern Oklahoma State and Tarleton State.  The three day event will be held on the campus of Ouachita Baptist University in Arkadelphia, Ark.
