CLEVELAND, Miss. - The Delta State University Lady Statesmen tennis team fell to the University of North Alabama 9-0 in a Gulf South Conference matchup Saturday, March 9.

In Doubles action Sandra Tora and Hiristina Koceva fell in a tight match 8-2.

Singles play saw Hidemi Mayeshiro fall in a close three set match by a final score of 6-3, 2-6, 10-7in singles two. Tora fell in singles three 6-1, 6-4.

Hiristina Koceva faught hard in singles four but fell 6-3, 6-3.

The Lady Statesmen return to the courts March 18 as they face Christian Brothers University. Match time is set for 1 p.m.
