CLEVELAND, Miss.- On Friday, March 1 the Delta State University Statesmen Tennis team recorded a win defeating Lindenwood University 5-4.

The Statesmen took two of three matches in doubles play as Tobias Rausch and Jean-Michel Limery won doubles two 8-5. Sebastian Rajaonary and Clement Depreeuw  recorded a victory taking doubles three 8-1.

In Singles play the Statesmen won the first three matches. Singles one saw Guillaume Lacour  win 6-1, 6-1 while Tobias Rausch took singles two 2-6, 6-4, 6-4. Depreeuw recorded the last win for the Statesmen in singles three wining 6-4, 6-3.

The Statesmen return to the courts Saturday, March 2 as they host the Hawks of Shorter University.
