Delta State Men's Tennis Wins 5-4 Against North Alabama

FLORENCE, Ala. – The Delta State men's tennis team picked up its third Gulf South Conference win by defeating the University of North Alabama, 5-4.

The 43rd ranked Statesmen started the evening losing all three doubles matches. Guillaume Lacour and Florian Mondoloni along with the team of Sebastien Rajaonary and Clement Depreeuw narrowly came close to giving DSU two wins in doubles play, but ultimately lost in tiebreaking sets. However, the Green-and-White were able to bounce back by winning five of the six singles matches, including a 6-1, 6-3 victory by Arthur Berthiaux.

Delta State's record now stands at 5-6 overall. DSU's next match will be against the Flames of Lee University in Cleveland, Tenn. as they look to obtain their 6th win of the season.
