CLEVELAND, Miss. - The Delta State University women's tennis team will open the 2016 season on Thursday, Feb. 11 through Sunday, Feb. 14 at the annual Ouachita Baptist University Invitational in Arkadelphia, Ark. The four-day event will be played at OBU's Heflin Tennis Center. The Lady Statesmen will square-off with the Bisons of Harding University in the first match of the year on Thursday at 1 p.m. Complete match results will be available on GoStatesmen.com throughout the weekend.

Delta State will face tournament host Ouachita Baptist (1-0) on Friday at 2 p.m. followed by Arkansas Tech University on Saturday at 1 p.m.  The Lady Statesmen will conclude play Sunday at 2 p.m. versus Henderson State University before returning to campus.

The Lady Statesmen will open Gulf South Conference action on Friday, Feb. 26 at Lee University in Cleveland, Tenn.
