CLEVELAND, Miss. - The Delta State University women's tennis team were swept, 9-0, against in-state and conference rival Mississippi College, on Wednesday afternoon.
The Lady Choctaws got out to an early 3-0 lead after claiming a win on all three courts in the doubles competition.
The momentum continued for Mississippi College in the singles competition grabbing a win on all six courts to claim an overall win, 9-0.
The Lady Statesmen return to action on Friday, March 24 at 10 a.m. against non-conference foe Auburn-Montgomery at the Court of Governors Tennis Courts.
