PENSACOLA, Fla. - The Delta State University women's tennis team wrapped up its regular season conference play by dropping its fourth-straight match to No. 6 University of West Florida, 5-0, on Saturday afternoon at Ralph "Skeeter" Carson Tennis Complex.
West Florida jumped out to an early 3-0 lead after taking all three courts in the doubles competition.
The momentum continued for the Argonauts in the singles competition claiming a victory in the fifth and sixth spot to give UWF the overall win, 5-0, over Delta State. The remaining matches were left unfinished.
The Lady Statesmen wrap up the regular season on the road against in-state Division I foe Jackson State University on Monday, April 10 at 5 p.m.
