Box Score MEMPHIS, Tenn. - The Delta State University women's tennis team defeated defeated Christian Brothers University, 8-1, for its first win and Gulf South Conference win of the season on Saturday, Feb. 10, in Memphis, Tenn.
 
The Lady Statesmen won the doubles competition 2-1 to take an early lead heading into singles action.
 
Both Nathalia Sato and Charlotte Le Flohic won their singles matches to pull the Lady Statesmen within one point of the match victory. Freshman Nathalia Stelzer secured the match win for the Lady Statesmen, defeating her opponent 6-2, 6-4.
