CLEVELAND, Miss. - Heavy rains and an unfavorable forecast have forced Delta State University and Mississippi Valley State University officials to postpone Wednesday's scheduled matchup in Itta Bena.

The game has been moved to Tuesday, April 9. First pitch is set for 3 p.m. at Delta Devils Field.

The Statesmen (9-0, 3-0 GSC) are scheduled to host Union University this weekend at Harvey Stadium-Ferriss Field. Saturday's doubleheader is slated for a 1 p.m. start while Sunday's series finale will begin at 2 p.m.
