CLEVELAND, Miss. – Game one of the NCAA Division II South Super Regional between No. 2 seed Delta State University baseball (42-12) and No. 1 seed the University of Tampa (29-14) is scheduled to begin on Friday at 1 p.m. (CDT).

Delta State defeated Valdosta State University 9-6 and Tampa defeated Nova Southeastern 6-5 (11 innings.) to set up the NCAA South Super Regional between the top two seeds. 

The winner of the three-game series advances to the NCAA Division II Baseball Championship on June 1-8 at USA Stadium in Cary, N.C.
