CLEVELAND, Miss. -- In the first-ever meeting between the two schools, the Delta State University women's swimming and diving team defeated Millsaps College on Senior day on Sunday afternoon.
Victoria Brady and Lucia Martelli were the Lady Statesmen seniors honored before the meet began.

INSIDE THE LANE LINES
- The Lady Statesmen relay team of Lucia Martelli, Madison Lavoie, Celeste Turner, and Martina Rossetti won the 200 yard medley relay with a time of 1:42.38.
- Isabella Kelly won the 1000 yard freestyle in 10:34.38, and Turner won the 200 yard freestyle in 1:57.34.
- Rossetti snagged the win in the 100 yard backstroke finishing in 55.15, while Lavoie claimed first in the 100 yard breaststroke with a 1:05.59.
- Martelli won the 200 yard butterfly in 2:05.21 for the Lady Statesmen.
- Erin Franklin claimed the win in the 50 free with a time of 24.97. Rossetti secured her second victory in the 100 yard freestyle with a time of 51.06.
- Peyton Osborn grabbed her first win of the day in the 200 yard backstroke, swimming a 2:11.81.
- Lavoie also won the 200 yard breaststroke with a time of 2:22.02.
- Kelly was the top finisher in the 500 freestyle as she posted a 5:11.43, and Martelli won another 100 yard butterfly competition (55.60).
- Lavoie won her third race of the day in the 200 yard individual medley with a time of 2:10.00.
ON THE BOARDS
- Gillian Pratt scored 264.36 on the one-meter board and a 242.54 on the three-meter board.
- Jillian Prigmore had a 166.57 on the three-meter board and a 169.13 on the one-meter board.
