ARKADELPHIA, Ark.. -- The Delta State University Statesmen swimming and diving team defeated NSISC rival Ouachita Baptist University 123-99 on Saturday afternoon in Arkadelphia, Ark.
This was the first meeting between the two teams in Arkansas since the 2017-18 season. The Statesmen were led by
Tucker Schroer, who won two individual races and and a relay race.

INSIDE THE LANE LINES
- The Statesmen swim relay team of Emanuel Fava, Savio Ragonesi, Federico Bracco, and Tucker Schroer took first in the 400-yard medley relay with a time of 3:28.71.
- Jakob Broughman won the 1000-yard freestyle with a time of 10:00.51.
- Schroer took the top spot in the 50-yard free with a time of 21.56.
- AJ Williams earned a win in the 200-yard individual medley with a time of 1:57.88.
- Schroer also won the 100-yard free style in 55.60.
- Ragonesi claimed first place in the 200-yard breaststroke with a time of 2:08.71.
ON THE BOARDS:
- Levi Ward had a score of 285.6 in the one-meter dive and a 173.56 in the three-meter dive.
