CLEVELAND, Miss. -- The Delta State University women's tennis team earned their first home victory over Christian Brothers, as they won 5-2 on Saturday afternoon at the Cleveland Country Club.

• Alena Macharova and Sofia Pepe (DSU) fell to Raquel Amaro and Esther Guemes (CBU) 6-1.
• Valentine Colin and Katheryne Valencia Perez (DSU) took down Gabriela Marin and Nellina Wooten (CBU) 6-4.
• Manuela Impeciati and Sophie St. Amant (DSU) edged out Laura Brazuelo and Eva Garcia (CBU) 7-6 to earn the doubles point.

SINGLES

• Macharova (DSU) fell to Amaro (CBU) 6-1, 6-0.
• Colin (DSU) lost against Guemes (CBU) 6-1, 6-3.
• Pepe (DSU) got the win over Marin (CBU) 6-1, 7-6.
• Impeciati (DSU) made quick work of Brazuelo (CBU) 6-2, 6-3.
• Colvee (DSU) went to three sets and defeated Garcia (CBU) 6-4, 4-6, and 6-2.
• Perez (DSU) defeated Wooten (CBU) 7-6, 6-1.
