CLEVELAND, Miss. - Delta State University announced that baseball and softball season tickets are on sale now for the general public for the 2022 Statesmen baseball and Lady Statesmen softball seasons.

"We're extremely excited to have the start of the season right around the corner for both the Statesmen and Lady Statesmen programs," DSU director of athletics Mike Kinnison said. "This year promises to offer a lot of excitement at Harvey Stadium-Ferriss Field and at University Field. We hope you make plans to come and support the Statesmen and Lady Statesmen this spring!"

Season tickets start as low as $30. The Lady Statesmen are schedule for 13 home dates in 2022, including eight doubleheaders at University Field. Delta State's first home softball series is set for Saturday and Sunday, Feb. 25-26, as the Lady Statesmen host the University of Montevallo in Gulf South Conference play. 

The Statesmen will play 15 home dates this year with six of those being twin bills. Head Coach Rodney Batts and the Statesmen will open the home campaign against Gulf South Conference foe the University of Montevallo on Feb. 26-27. First pitch for the series opening doubleheader is set for 1 p.m. at Harvey Stadium-Ferriss Field with a single game on Sunday at 2 p.m.
