ARKADELPHIA, Ark. -- Lady Statesmen tennis traveled to southwest Arkansas Friday to open their 2023 season against the Henderson State Reddies. Head Coach Kel Lange said liked the effort his team provided despite the outcome of the meet and was thrilled to see what the future holds for his team.
"I am very proud of this group. The scores are deceptive, we competed in every match to the very end," said Lange. "We learned a big lesson today; we are capable of winning at every spot. That gets me excited about the thing this group can do."
