CLEVELAND, Miss. – The Delta State University Women's Tennis Team will be playing in the GSC Championship tournament for the first time since 2019 this Thursday at Lagoon Park in Montgomery, Ala.
 
The Lady Statesmen are the no. 8 seed and will face the no. 1 seeded Tigers from West Alabama at 10:00 a.m. (CDT)
 
Admission to all matches is free and live stats will be provided via the Ioncourt app.
 
How The Lady Statesmen Clinched a Postseason Berth.
Delta State clinched a spot in the GSC Championship with a 4-3 win over Christian Brothers on Monday, April 7 at the Cleveland Country Club. The Lady Statesmen have got solid production in the final three home matches at the no. 3 singles spot as junior Yasmina Mayer has won three straight matches in that position.
 
 
With a win, the Lady Statesmen will play again on Friday at 10:00 a.m. (CDT) at Lagoon Park.
