Brett Warner, a sophomore guard for the Statesmen, has earned CableOne GoStatesmen.com Athlete of the Week honors for the first time this season.

The Collierville, Tenn., native led the Statesmen with a career-best 32 points, including eight-of-nine from three point range, in an 87-71 victory over Lee University. Warner also scored 13 points in a setback at Shorter.

The Statesmen return to action on Saturday, Dec. 31, when they play host to Union University. Tip off is scheduled for 4 p.m. CT.
