Brett Warner, a sophomore guard for the Statesmen, has earned CableOne GoStatesmen.com Athlete of the Week honors for the third time this season.

The Collierville, Tenn., native led the Statesmen in scoring 29 points and hitting the game-winning three-pointer as time expired in the 82-81 win over Shorter University on Saturday afternoon. Warner went 7-for-11 from distance and grabbed 5 boards and one assist against the Hawks. Warner scored eight points and grabbed four rebounds in the 73-61 win against Lee University on Thursday night.

The Green-and-White hit the road for a matchup against Union University of Feb. 16 at 8 p.m.
