Lady Statesmen Tennis Snaps Losing Streak With Win Over Lindenwood

CLEVELAND, Miss. - The Delta State women's tennis team has finally returned home after a miserable weekend road trip along the gulf coast, resulting in the Lady Statesmen's longest losing streak of the season, 4 games. However, DSU was able to bounce back, as they defeated Lindenwood University, 5-4, on Monday, March 30th. The Green-and-White were off to a good start, taking 2-of-3 doubles matches from the Lions. Singles competiton was split between both squads, but the Lady Statesmen were able to get the upper hand in the end, downing LWU, 5-4.

Delta State is schedule to face the University of Louisiana-Monroe on Wednesday, April 1st in Cleveland, Miss., weather permitting.
