JACKSON, Mississippi – The Delta State women's tennis team fell 7-2 against Belhaven University on Saturday, Feb. 25 at Belhaven University in Jackson, Miss.
Belhaven took a 2-1 lead after the doubles competition.
Charlotte Le Flohic and
Sarah Nash picked up DSU's only doubles victory on court No. 2.
Belhaven finished the match winning five of six singles matches. Le Flohic earned the Lady Statesmen's only singles victory of the match.
The Lady Statesmen (1-5) will open Gulf South Conference play at the University of North Alabama in Florence, Ala., with a match scheduled at 2 p.m. on March 3.
