Box Score CLEVELAND, Miss. – The University of Montevallo Falcons earned their 16
th win of the season with a 9-0 sweep of Delta State on Sunday, March 25, in Cleveland, Miss.
The Falcons soared into the lead after sweeping all three doubles matches.
The Lady Statesmen began to gain momentum in the singles competition, but the Falcons held on to the win.
"We have to work to continue to get better mentally and emotionally," said
Jeffrey Farris, head coach of the Delta State women's tennis team. "Montevallo was a great team, and we must prepare for another quality opponent in West Florida for our next match."
