Box Score CLINTON, Miss. - The Delta State University women's tennis lost 9-0 to in-state rival Mississippi College in a Gulf South Conference match on Wednesday, March 7, in Clinton, Miss.
 
The Lady Choctaws took the lead after a three-match sweep in the doubles competition.   
 
The Lady Statesmen tried to make a comeback in the singles competition, but Mississippi College won all singles matches to defeat Delta State, 9-0.

MATCH NOTES:

• Delta State falls to 2-4 overall and 1-3 in GSC play.
• The Lady Choctaws extended their winning streak to 10 matches and improve to 10-0 overall and 5-0 in GSC competition.
• Since MC joined the GSC conference, the Lady Choctaws have won three of the past four contests against Delta State.
