CLEVELAND, Miss. -- A challenging field awaits the Delta State University men's golf team heads at the Bearcat Classic on Monday and Tuesday at the Greenwood Country Club in Greenwood, South Carolina.
TOURNAMENT FORMAT: The tournament is scheduled for three rounds (54 hole). The team will play 36 holes on Monday and 18 holes on Tuesday.

Founded as a golf club in 1927, Greenwood Country Club is one of the oldest private clubs in the country, as well as the only private country club in Greenwood, SC. The golf course was designed by legendary golf course architect George Cobb. The layout provides a challenging test to golfers of all skill levels. Built in 1950, the 18 hole course, made up of Cedar and Lake nines, plays longer than its 6,800 yards from the back tees. With 6 sets of tees and brand new TifEagle greens, Greenwood Country Club will not disappoint any golfer, of any skill level.
