CLEVELAND, Miss. -- The Delta State University men's golf team finally gets back to the links competing in the Buccaneer Spring Classic at North Creek Golf Club in Southaven, Miss.
The teams will play 36 holes on Monday, March 11 and 18 holes on Tuesday, March 12.

"We are looking forward to getting the Spring season started at Christian Brothers . Having our tournament cancelled last week was a tough one to swallow since we were ready to get back out and compete, but we're turning right around and will be ready to go this week and get the Spring campaign started on the right foot. The majority of the team has played the golf course before so we will have a good comfort level. I'm excited to see the improvements we've made from the Fall season and we're ready to go beat some people."

COURSE INFORMATION: NORTH CREEK GOLF CLUB - SOUTHAVEN, Miss.
North Creek is an 18 hole, par 72 Championship Links Style layout with a rating of 71.2 and a slope of 125. The course features the finest Champion Bermuda greens and Mississippi Choice Bermuda Fairways. With 4 sets of tee markers, the course measures 6,433 yards from the Championship tees to 4559 yards from the red tees making it a fun and accessible course. But it is not hard for even the best golfers to find trouble! North Creek has hosted many prestigious events including The NGA Hooters Tour, The John Daly Make-A-Wish & many of the Mississippi and Tennessee Junior Tour events.
