MEET RESULTS
CLEVELAND, Miss. – The Delta State University Statesmen swim and dive team finished in second place in the 21
stannual Christmas Invitational.
Madelyn Byrd, and
Celeste Turner each won a event on the final night of the meet. The Lady Statesmen set 44 personal best and relay best times throughout the entire meet.

INSIDE THE ROPES
- Jamie Glover took second in the 1650 free with a NCAA "B" Standard time of 17:19.28.
- Madelyn Byrd won the 200 yard backstroke with a time of 1:59.93 setting a NCAA "B" Standard mark.
- Celeste Turner came in fourth in the 100 yard free with a time of 52.14.
- Madison Lavoie was the top finisher in the 200 yard breaststroke coming in seventh in the 2:26.43.
- Turner easily won the 200 yard butterfly with a time of 2:01.93. Byrd came in third with a time of 2:05.86.
- The Lady Statesmen 400 free relay team of Danielle Solkow, Turner, Byrd, and Lavoie came in third with a time of 3:29.22.
