CLEVELAND, Miss. -- The Delta State University women's swim team won two events on the final night of the New South Intercollegiate Swim Conference Championships and took second place overall for the third straight year.
The University of West Florida took home the championship with 1,225 points and Delta State scored 1,018.5 points. Madison Lavoie won the 200 yard breaststroke and the Lady Statesmen won the 400 freestyle relay to close out the championships.

INSIDE THE ROPES
- Isabella Kelly came in second in the 1650 yard free with a time of 17:17.16 and Sommer Rhodes took third place (17:20.51).
- In the 100 yard free, Lucia Martelli came in second with a time of 51.14 losing by less than a second and half.
- Celeste Turner came in third (51.34), Victoria Brady was fourth (51.71), Daniella Solkow was fifth (52.08), and Erin Franklin was ninth (52.83).
- Madelyn Byrd was the top finisher in the 200 yard backstroke with a time of 2:05.05.
- Peyton Osborn was sixth with a time of 2:06.38 and Olivia Leslie was ninth (2:07.23).
- Madison Lavoie won the 200 yard breaststroke finishing in 2:17.50 and Solkow came in eighth (2:29.83).
- The DSU relay team of Martina Rossetti, Brady, Turner, and Solkow won the 400 free relay with a time of 3:25.62.
- The "B" relay team of Erin Franklin, Rhodes, Osborn, and Helena Hall cam in ninth with a time of 3:35.11.
