BIRMINGHAM, Ala. -- The Delta State University Lady Statesmen Swim and Dive closed out the 2020-21 season with a tenth place finish at the NCAA National Championships. It is their highest finish since a tenth place finish in 2016. The Lady Statesmen had 184 points which is the most in a NCAA championship meet in school history.

• The day began with Isabella Kelly swimming a 17:37.99 in the 16500 yard free and coming in 21st.
• Daniella Solkow came in 31st in the 100 free with a time of 52.17.
• Madison Lavoie came in 18th in the 200 yard breaststroke with a time of 2:20.12.
• The Lady Statesmen relay team of Martina Rossetti, Celeste Turner, Lucia Martelli, and Isabella Kelly finished the meet with an 8th place finish. They swam the 400 free relay in 3:26.64 .

• It is the highest finish for the Lady Statesmen since a tenth place finish in 2016.
• The Lady Statesmen had 184 points which is the most in a NCAA championship meet the previous record was 174 points in 2015.
