DAY ONE RESULTS
COLUMBUS, Ga. -- Landon Carner and
Kyle DeCenzo sit sixth and eighth place, respectively, while the Delta State University men's golf team is in fourth place after two rounds of the Cougar Invitational at the Green Island Country Club on Monday.
Carner shot a two-over, 72 in the opening round before rebounding to fire a two-under, 68 to stand tied for sixth with an even-par 140.Â
Kyle DeCenzo shot a minus-one, 69, and a two-over, 72 to stand in a three-way tie for eighth at one-over, 141.
Pongbhop Jamornsrianan is tied for 20th with a plus-five, 145 (72-73) followed by
Mitchell Fifer (79-72) and
Jake Kight (80-71) tied for 54 at 11-over, 151.

The Statesmen started slow with a 12-over, 292 team-aggregate score before heating up to shoot a two-over 282 for a 15-over, 574.
Host Columbus State University leads the team standings with a two-under, 558 on the par 70, 6512-yard Green Island Country Club Course.
Columbus State's Jordan Doull finished the day with a six-under, 134 to hold a one-stroke lead on Beck Burnette of Lee University heading into Tuesday's final round.
The final round tees off at 9 a.m. on Tuesday.
