GREENSBORO, NC. – Celeste Turner took fourth place in an extremely fast championship heat of the 200 yard butterfly to lead the Delta State University Lady Statesmen Swim and Dive team on night three of NCAA Championships. After three days of competition, DSU sits in 15th place with 75 points.

INSIDE THE ROPES
- Jamie Glover finished the 500 free in 30th with a time of 5:02.37.
- Madelyn Byrd came in 24th in the 100 yard backstroke with a time of 56.23
- Celeste Turner came in 4th in the 200 yard butterfly with a time of 1:59.26 earning All-American honors.
- Byrd came in 27th in the 200 yard butterfly with a time of 2:08.90
- The 400 yard freestyle relay team of Glover, Lucia Martelli, Daniella Solkow, and Turner came in 16th with a time of 7:32.50. The 16th place was good enough for a Honorable Mention All-American finish.
