Tahlequah, OK. – Statesmen Men's Golf opened their season on the road this week at Northeastern State University. The team placed sixth in the tournament shooting a +22 (874).

Matt Nicell finished 14^th shooting 216 for his total score after 3 rounds for the tournament. Pongbhop Jamornsrianan finished T26 shooting 219 for the tournament.

 Up next for the Statesmen Men's Golf will travel to Arkadelphia, Arkansas on October 2nd to compete at Henderson State. They will play at the Hot Springs Country Club Golf Course.
