CLEVELAND, Miss. – The Delta State University Men's Golf Team is currently tied for second in the Derrall Foreman Invitational with a two-round score of 598 (+22) today at the Cleveland Country Club.
 
The Statesmen are highlighted by Ty Werynski who is currently in a tie for second place with a two-round score of 146 (+2). Werynski started the day shooting an even score of 72 and followed it up with a 74 (+2).
 
Delta State has a second golfer in the top ten in freshman Hayden Webber. Webber is tied for eighth place with a two-round score of 149 (+5). Webber shot a 74 (+2) in the first round and a 75 (+3) in the second round.
 
Payne Bius and Peter Blazevic are tied for 15^th with a two-round total of 151 (+7). Blazevic shot a 79 (+7) in the first round and finished the day with a even score of 72. Bius started the day with a 73 (+1) and finished the afternoon with a 78 (+6).
 
The Statesmen will finish the three-round invitational tomorrow morning at the Cleveland Country Club at 8:00 a.m. (CDT).
