ST. ALBANS, Mo. – Senior
Zach Zediker shot a three-over, 75 to claim Medalist honors the NCAA Division II Preview at the Country Club of St. Albans Louis and Clark Course on Tuesday.
Zach Zediker entered the day with a four-stroke lead and held off the St. Mary's Emilio Gonzalez (211/-5) and Arkansas Tech's Shawn Tsai (212/-4). The win was Zediker's second straight and eighth career win as a Statesmen.
Zach Smith finished tied for fourth with a three-under, 313, firing a final round two-under, 70. Smith finished in a three-way tie for fourth with Central Missouri's Matt Hoemann and Arkansas Tech's Francois Jacobs.
The Statesmen shot a four-over, 292 to take third place with a six-over, 870 behind Arkansas Tech's nine-under, 855 and St. Mary's (Texas) three-under, 861.
